4 HERO (Raw Canvas, UK)

The innovators with the open minds, the avant-garde of the club sound. For many years on stage. For many years in the places where the others would like to be. Their motto is: Soul has many dimensions. They are able to show different faces of soul. They started the career in the golden times of rave music in the UK. 4Hero experimented with techno, jungle and hard core - their tracks like the seminal "Mr. Kirk’s Nightmare" are the classics nowadays. 4Hero were changing with the music. Drum and bass, future soul, broken beats - Dego McFarlane and Mark Mac were very influential for the British music. Jazz, soul, blues, funk, hip hop. It is the deep, black music. Their last album "Play with the Changes" (Raw Canvas 2007) is like the journey through all these styles and was recorded with Ursula Rucker and Carina Anderson and was promoted with the great single "Morning Child".

In Szczecin the duo is going to be represented by Marc Mac in a dj set with the companion of MC MG.
