MARK ERNESTUS (RHYTHM & SOUND) FEAT. TIKIMAN (Basic Channel, DE)

The techno legend, the tech-dub pioneer, one of the most influential persons on the Berlin scene is going to perform in Szczecin. He is going to be supported by Tikiman, Dominicana-born vocalist. Mark Ernestus is a living legend among the producers of modern electronic music. Together with Moritz Von Oswald, they produced tracks which still remain inspirations for many. They used to run Basic Channel label on which they released the tracks by the artists like Porter Ricks, Monolake, Scion and their own material under the monikers Maurizio, Phylyps, Quadrant, Cyrus and Radiance.

After bringing freshness into techno, Oswald and Ernestus turned into dub music. They established Rhythm and Sound and they created another revolution in modern dance music. Using only electronics they created a very organic and deep sound that was resembling the true spirit of Jamaican dub.

Ernestus and Von Oswald have not been playing together recenty focusing on their solo projects.
